As an outsider I have to agree your country has some of the dumbest/weirdest laws when it comes to FAs and hunting

Why, because we can have automatic weapons and hunt with cans?

Sadly, only free states allow their citizens to have FA firearms despite the rigorous application and background check that is done before approval. I believe most European countries, if not all, allow hunting with cans.
