The match ran for about 24 to 30 hours (depending on which team you were on). With travel, I had close to 40 hrs awake and the match directors were even worse off. The scores dropped notably towards noon on day 2 (the match started 6 in the evening, shot through the night).

Big fan of the 6.5x55, wish the STR was available in the states. It's summer and there is a bunch of snow on the ground, no thank you, I much prefer my 50 degree winters

Thanks for sharing,interesting competition . Never owned a modern 6.5 x 55mm,but I love my 114 year old model 96 ..
