Turbulent Turtle
F-TR competitor
Jade Delcambre (Down South on this board) shot a 590-26X at today's Bayou Rifles LR December match and Club Championship. Jade told us that he had just shot a 586-something at another match and with the 590, that gives an average of 588 which is the threshold for HM classification. I will be sending in the match report to the NRA later this week and I hope that Jade's memory (and math) are correct and that he does get HP classification.
I could not wait to come here and post this. Jade is driving back home to Louisiana and is probably having a difficult time containing himself. He'll have this to read when he gets home. On behalf of Bayou Rifles, Inc., I sincerely congratulate him on this great achievement.
The conditions were pretty good today with heavily overcast skies and a fairly steady wind from the ENE (from 2 o'clock for our range.) We had a great turnout with 43 shooters, 23 of which were F-TR shooters, 10 F-Open, 8 Match rifles (slings) and 2 great Service Rifle shooters.
Don Diffey (Whatsthediff on this board), another F-TR shooter scored a 588-17X, a high master score, and a great performance.
