A little reload fine tuning help please.

I am going to begin fine tuning my load for my 300 WSM and based on my powder charge weight in the mid to high 60's (grains) what incremental increase in 10ths of a grain should I use?
Thanks,
Art.

Working up a load, or fine tuning an existing load? If you are trying to come up with a basic powder charge I would work with bigger increments. For instance, I can easily find nodes for a 6PPC (30ish grain capacity) using .3 grain steps in powder charge. For magnum cases I do my initial investigation in half grain steps.

.5 for initial and confirm with .3 once you think you have something. 0.2 right off the bat is going to cause you to shoot alot on a gun with a lot of recoil and (relatively) short barrel life.
