I was showing some F Class shooters a dummy round of my old 6 x 39, a cartridge developed by a couple of Canuck bench rest shooters with some assistance from some guy named Jim Stekl. They suggested that it was likely closest to a 6 Dasher.
So things have come, in close to 50 years, pretty much full circle. The 6x39 became the model for Remington's (insert Jim Stekl) development of the 6 BR. And now the Dasher with a 40 degree shoulder has become available commercially. The 6x39 is just like a wildcatted Dasher with a 45 degree shoulder and venturi shoulder.
