Im new to 6mmbr, but I have been learning here for sometime. Until lately, I have been doing alot of my own work. Just picky or always trying to out-do myself I guess.
I have been building my own stocks until I saw the Charles Ballard story week # 88 here on 6mmbr. Some may look at Ballards stock and assume that it is typical. Well I called Ray Bowman and we talked, and talked some more. There are some truly ' usable' features built into this stock. I asked Ray to build me one of these stocks, he calls it ' the Ballard F-class'. I received my stock in a timely manner and requested that it be in the rough so I could shape it to my liking. What a great start to a custom rifle project, I couldnt be happier.
Ray is a serious gunsmith/stock maker. Go read the story here on 6mmbr gun of the week # 88 and link up to Precision Rifle & Tool.
PS. the inlet Ray cut for me is for the Savage Target Act. www.precisionriflesales.com
