I would have this year but my 338 barrel died this winter and I had cut a new one a few days before the match. It was a fun match. Jump in and shoot it. I am not sure how far the Mud Springs match is from. Its north of Bend. That is a good one too. They shoot matches there in Spring and Fall.
Ugh!! That's happened to me before. I have started keeping a fresh, chambered barrel ready to go for all my match rifles now so I am not out of the game when one dies unexpectedly. Now I hoard blanks in addition to components! lolI would have this year but my 338 barrel died this winter and I had cut a new one a few days before the match.
I’ll look into mud springs.
Eastern Oregon not far from highway 84 and the Columbia river.Looked on YouTube for this match, but didn't see a video. Looks like a beautiful range. Where is it located?
I had the barrels but we’re reorganizing our lathe room at work and I didn’t have the lathe I use for barrels leveled and wired until recently Ugh!! That's happened to me before.
