i believe that he is trying to determine that.. from the way he wrote his first post.. do you have any experience with either scale and can enlighten the OP with your knowledge?Which ones do you have in mind?
That 123 is a good solid scope. I had one for a few years and never had any trouble.I had a Satorious before I had an A&D. I can't remember the model number of the Satorious but it was a happy day when I got rid of the POS. It wouldn't hold zero for squat and drifted all over the place. The A&D 123 I replaced it with has been solid from day one.
What do you hope to gain with the Sartorius?I have an A&D running AutoTrickler V3, considering a Satorious Entris 64
I had considered the Satorious because of that thirds decimal place, but I just couldn't see where that was really going to make an difference. . . at least, not for me. I went with the A&D FX-120i find the resolution is plenty to help me get SD's in the mid to low single digits.I have been running the Sartorious Entris for 5-6 years now and have went from the V2 to V3 auto trickler setups. I am very happy with the scale and the performance. The only con to this setup is size, the scale and enclosure is big. Also it goes to the third decimal place so if you have OCD it might drive you crazy.
I struggle to imagine a need where the extra digit (which always rounds to the .002 gr btw) will make a difference when a powder kernel weighs between .02 and .05 grains.Just trying to figure if it’s worth upgrading to the Satorious. Have a chance to get one at a good price.
( Why ) Id think if you have the A&D your good to go...just my 2cJust trying to figure if it’s worth upgrading to the Satorious. Have a chance to get one at a good price.

I’d buy the Satorious at the good price point to evaluate its suitability for your needs. If not satisfied, you can sell it to recover your investment then apply the funds towards an A&D/other reloading accessories…If you dont have the A&D..get the Sartorius.

But i provoked you into giving a better more informative response then what you first did.. that's a start.. mission accomplished..View attachment 1580554There are quite a number of ranges of balances from both A&D and Sartorius. Without knowing which ones the OP refers to it is difficult to give an informed opinion.
