A couple words to the wise

When you have your loading box with primers, powders, and other things needed for making ammo at the range like,STEEL WOOL) Never toss in your extra 9 volt chrony battery. As soon as the battery touches the steel wool it is instant ignition. Don't ask me how I know.

Never keep an epoxy syringe in your loading box that looks just like your bolt lube syringe. I didn't do it, but I came real close.

I know this is common sense stuff, but when your focused on what your doing its pretty easy to do something stupid. I don't mind admitting it though.

That is some truly sage advice. And some that should be sincerely hearkened to.

As to not asking, I never do, I too have come to wisdom the hard way a couple of times.

Learning the difference between an acid and a base comes to mind.

Some more of my latest;

When using any type of putty expoxy compounds, never leave both tubs of epoxy open at the same time when mixing a batch. You will stick the mixing/scooping stick in the wrong container.

Never leave a bottle of isopropyl alcohol on your work bench for any reason if drinking pop/soda from a plastic bottle screw off cap bottle.

When working under the dash or in the engine compartment, remove your watch with the metallic band. I saw a perfect "brand" on a fellows wrist, made when the band completed a 12v DC circuit.
