Should I trim 9x21 brass back to 9x19 Para?
It is far easier to change springs than to change barrels.
Conumdrum: I could chamber ream the 9mm to 9x21 to gain almost .357 SIG performance. I could by a barrel in both. I could trim the 9x21 back.
Is 9x21 the same brass only 2mm longer? The cartridges are the same overall length. It looks the same. If so would it be safe to load 9mm to 9x21 loads? The safety concern is for saving old surplus and cheap firearms. Therefore 2mm was added to the higher proof barrels of the 9x21. The longer case seems to help with accuracy.
