9mm subsonic ammo in a pcc?

Depends on a lot of factors…but… most subsonic 9mm barely gets to transonic even in a 16 inch barrel.

Don't shoot many subs in 9 mm it's already under powered.
Supers 16" AR yes...50 gr copper 2498 fps, 75 gr 1900 fps, 115 gr 1739 fps, 124 gr 1643 fps, 147 gr 1284 fps out of a 9mm...plus p. So why shoot subsonic?
Best bet would be low velocity 147 gr bullets in factory but I only hand load, and use a chronograph, because that's the only way you'll know for sure with all the variables...buy one and reload to adjust the velocity to your barrel. I've cut 200 gr .358 jacketed rifle bullets to 185 grs and resized the .358 dia. To .355 and run those at 900 fps, in 9mm for heavy sub loads...but they just penetrate like FMJ, and somewhat unimpressive compared to what performance is available in a 16" 9 mm supers...capable of putting 10 rds on 205 yard steel in a row...if ya want with your 9 mm.
Super sonic is where its at for real smash mouth power in 9mm and 16" barrels...put over 700 ft/ lbs of explosive energy with bullet performance on your target, is more fun than 200 ft/lbs with subs and tiny .355" holes and littlt to no bullet expansion....and little to no target reaction to the bullet impact. I still play with subs alot, but never used them for any serious endeavor...even the 8.6 blackout which has turned into mostly a 900 to 1000 fps round with its ridiculous 3 twist barrel...I'd like to see it in an 8 twist for all around use with any .338 bullet up to 300 grains...wanted to trade Faxon a 3 twist for an 8 but they haven't gotten back to me.
