9mm PCC Competition Reloading

Just finished my 9mm competition PCC with 5.5" shrouded to 16" barrel, and short stroke JP Silent capture spring. what i am looking for is some pointers on ammo to use, what to reload with and anyone's experience to keep that dot steady for a follow up shot. Please share your opinion

Thanks in advance!

You will probably have better luck at Brian Enos forum for suggestions. I do shoot PCC and would recommend coated bullets as they are less costly. I use bluebullet.com. 125 grain. There is also Bayou bullets and blackbullets.com. For powder, I use tight group. Its normally easy to find and not too expensive. It is a bit dirty, but I never thought it was much of a problem.

Some PCC competitions have Minor requirements. There is a minimum power factor of 125 for Minor scoring and a low end of 115 grains. I make sure my rigs run smooth with margin at that level for the games. See Appendix D and rules section 5,5 and 5.6 for an example of PCC rules as an example.

You won’t have much trouble with a blow back or delayed blow back getting something to run. A 9mm PCC is a lot of fun on a good course.

Also for follow up shot, keep stock tightly in your shoulder. You will find that PCC is inherently more stable than pistols and are a lot of fun to shoot fast even if your fundamentals aren't perfect
