9mm case gauge block

My gauge is my barrel. I might check one in 1000 rounds. Life is too short to check all of them I load. After shooting around 25,000 or so 9 MM and not having any fitmet issues I think I've got it down. The same goes for my 9X21 that I've probably loaded another 100,000.

I'm more concerned with OAL in various chambers when I get a new bullet to try. SAAMI numbers are great but the profiles we are seeing now are way different than the old ones. Hence the use of a plunk test when trying out something new followed by actual range firing.

I use a Shockbottle super match. Not sure how often they run those. It’s tighter than all my barrels and allows me to stripe the head stamp easily to keep track of what ammo it is/brass to pick up when I’m using single head stamp.

I use the 7 count block no problem pulling out the no go & dumping it.
My sig shoots anything. My s&w competition is tight.
