Hi fellas starting to find a load for my 6br for 550 & 1000 yards using 95smk and varget started with 31 grns got 8" to 10" vertical has anyone else got a load that's a little flatter cheers jack

My standard load for the 6BR with the 95 gr. SMK# 1437 is 31.5 Varget. Have never had the opportunity to go beyond 547 yds/500 mtrs. and at least to that distance saw no vertical. If the winds are a factor I usually use the 107 SMK with 30 grs. of Varget.

Jack: Don't know. My P.O.S. chronograph is so undependable I can never count on the results shown. In the process of upgrading now.

Have you tried jumping the Sierras? My first ladder test was with them jammed in the lands and they shot about like yours and the gun was so far out of tune that it was throwing over 6 inches of horizontal along with the vertical. Tried jumping next and they held an inch at 300 yards.
Never would have believed it unless i saw it.
