The 95 grain Berger, Classic Hunters, in My 1-7.5 twist, 6 XC,.. shoot and Kill,.. very, "Well" !
They were, very, EASY to,.. "Tune" !!
The VLD's will work, Fine but, you gotta find,. the "Best" bullet, Depth as, they can Be,. "Fussy" !

MIGHT "Try",. a Light "Jam" on Bullet and another load with, Off it, the Lands,.. .070 to .080
Use, a little LESS Powder for, the Jammed Bullet !
In our, .243 Win., rifle,.. the 87 gr., H-VLD, shot BEST,. at,. .075 "off"

I use them in a 6BR for HP Silhouette on Pigs (300m/328yds) and Turkeys (385m/421yds). They work great for me.
Very accurate bullet in my 6Dashers. Rockchucks are not to happy with this bullet at any range!

If I remember right, I was running those at 3060 for velocity.
Many tend to favor or hate a bullet with no regards to velocity.
My BRDX loves them

I have had a lot of experience , over many years, with the 95 GR. VLD as well as the 87 Gr. VLD bullets. Both truly great bullets. They are very accurate, shoot flat and are devastating when they reach their final destination. I've used them in the 6X47L, the 6BRA and the 6 GT. As someone else mentioned , seating depth is important and varies from rifle to rifle. I have some rifles that need .050 off the lands, some .033 off and once in a while .005 to .o10 in the lands. Do your OCW first and then load up several and go to the range with your Wilson straight line seater die and Arbor Press and work down in about .005 increments. Shoot two shots. If they aren't in the same hole or very close, no need to shoot a third-the group isn't going to get any smaller. Keep going down and the group will eventually come together. At least thats been my experience. Good luck

I shot them at my first 300m match I attended.
Somewhere in the neighborhood of 3200-3400fps. 24" Kreiger also 1:9
A relevant post for me. I have only just finished loading some 95s in a BRA wo work up loads for a 500m Fly shoot gun.
ok hope they work for you . i'm in process of a BRA build so we will see . They shoot good out of my 6 x 47 lapua actually great.
