90gr xtp in .308 win

Hi there has anyone tried hornady 90gr XTP's in a .308 winchester and what results did you get? I thinking it may have to be downloaded a little with the 1:12 twist barrel and extra speed than a pistol round??

Good luck making it survive past 2500 fps. I tried something similar with 110 RN's from a 30-06, they make it to about the 7y line with a 1:10 twist and 3600 fps. I downloaded them til I was around 3000 fps and they still blew up so I quit and just went to the 110 Vmax. That survives at 1:10 twist and 3700 fps.
