9.3x62 necked down to 7mm

Yeah just wondering if anybody has played with this case in 7mm or 30 cal and what powders they have used few mates have over here in Australia

Does this end up like a 280 or a 280AI? Are necks longer?

I've used 9.3x62 brass to make 6.5-06 cases, they come out a bit short but are usable. If you just did a plain neck down for 30 cal and 7 mm you'd end up with a minimally different 30-06 and 280 Remington, way not worth the effort of having reamers made in my opinion.

7x64 was made long ago and it will do anything the 7-9,3x62 can do.

Mates have been using this case because off the better Lapua brass and it holds together longer
