I shot a young female yote yesterday morning using the berger 88's for the first time. Had a pencil hole entrance and a golf ball exit. Bang-Flop. I first tried the 80 Bergers because I have a 1-12 douglas barrel on my kimber montana. During load development, I was lured away with the higher BC's of the 88's.
It was at 200 yards with a 15-20 MPH crosswind. I was very pleased with the results. I tried the 87 VMax's first with very bad grouping. It took about 70 bullets to do the OCW test with two powders, then the berger seating test for it all to come together. I searched for results of the 88's and coyotes but did not find anything much out there.
