800 Yard 3 shot .65 MOA With an Encore

With my 6.5X47 Lapua Encore. Not bad for a light weight skinny barrelled hunting rifle. Light wind, from the left, I didn't think it was enough to blow me off the steel, so I didn't correct for it.

140 Beger VLD backed by Reloader 17 Leupold VXL with a custom dial.

Actually, the vertical dispersion for a hunting rifle is extraordinary! It is even pretty decent for a full-blown custom competition rifle! The wind can easily account for the horizontal spread. I would say you have a GREAT barrel with a GREAT load!
