80 gr Nosler Ballistic Tips

I have been looking to find some 80 gr Nosler Ballistic Tips but haven't seen them and they've been on back order for 8 months or more. I have asked Nosler and they say they are being made, have any of you actually seen them recently?

Can't say that I've ever seen 80 gr. NBTs. Just recently found some 70s that are the most accurate (so far) in my .243. Long shot: might check @ www.woodburyoutfitters.com as they seem to have a good variety of Nosler bullets.

I used the 70s for several years to shoot the local clay pigeon shoots out to 500 yards. When they added a 1000 yard match I switched to the 80 gr NBT. It's all my 12 twist Lilja will handle and they shoot really well.

They are available here in eastern PA at a local gun shop.

If you can't find any you may want try the 80 grain Sierra Blitz or that Sierra 85 grain boat tail hollow point. I've used both in several of my 243's with excellent results especially with IMR 4350 and IMR 4064.
