I have some Berger 180 hybrids on the way and 14lbs of rl26. Anyone have any load data with this combination? I don't see any and am not sure where to begin. Thank you.

I don't know if Alliant's website has any data for the STW.

If all else fails, call Sierra.
They'll answer load questions, even if your not using their bullets.

I found some data for 180 VLD but not Bergers, it lists H1000 at 70-74 grs. RL-26 and H1000 are basically the same burn rate so you should be ok starting at 70 grs.

Told you wrong, it was a Berger. Info is from Hodgdon data listed under Shooter Reference Data.

And suggesting that a burn rate chart means you can use the same data for two different powders isn't?

I suggest you give Alliant a call or get in touch with @Alliant Reloading on this forum. Paul may no have the exact answer you're looking for but he can explain the ins and outs of how RE26 stacks up against H1000.

Nosler lists a 185 gr bullet with 72.5 grs of RL-26 as max. Nosler.com, go under load data.
