7mmWBY loads

Just curious if anyone has struggled getting pet loads for a 7mmWBY. Used IMR4831, recommended in Hornady manual. Had to drop from near max load to a target load, which is about the same as the 7mm Rem load before I could get under 1 inch.

Elk season too close now but after Nov, may try it again...

It depends on what weight bullets that you are shooting. I have loaded for a friends 7mm wby and we had very good results with H4831 and RL22, both using Federal magnum primers.

Reloader 22 and a 215 match primer. Do your case primer pocket work and flash hole deburring. Sort them by weight and make sure you don't size to much. I shoot a 7mm STW which is similar and it can be a bugger to! Re22 really seemed to turn it around unfortunately I shot out the barrel with load development! :-( Got a 721 action that will support a new one.
