7mm x 6.5 x 47 Lapua

Has anyone out there tried a 6.5x47 lapua case
neck up to a 7mm?

If so any loading Information?

Why not just do a 7-08?

If you're wanting Lapua brass, just neck down Lapua 308 Win brass.

Geez, why mess with the cost of custom everything for probably a little less performance of a factory round?

hi I have been shooting a 7x47 lapua for two years now and have had some great results with it i neck up the 6.5x47 shells, not resize and neck down 308 shells ) so that i get the capabilities of the lapua brass i use a PAC-NOR 10 twist barrel 39.4 grn Varget and 130 grn sierra MK all shoots at 2900 fps i use it for 500m fly 600yd benchrest and 1000 benchrest also have shot it at some f-class shoots it has shot a high score of 50.2 in 600yd and a lot of flys at 500mt it is a very easy cartridge to tune and is easy on brass i have reloaded my shells 20 times without full lenght sizing hope this helps you descide to build one
