7mm x 47 Lapua

Has it been done yet? should have more horsepower than the 7 BR and would be fun shooting 100 or 120 grain bullets.

Hi It has been done i've been shooting a 7x47 l for 2 years in competition shoots 130gn smk's 39.2 gn varget very accurate load i use it for FLY 600yd and 1000 yd benchrest the cases last very well also 15-20 reloads so far regards john mc

Very interesting! Can you provide more detail please? I would like to shoot the 130 to 140 gr ranges of bullets. Tell me about the speed of your loads as well as barrel life?

Hello DSBW i have been shooting my 7x47 l for the last 2 years and have 1600 rounds through it it has a PAC-NOR 1 in 10 twist 26 inch long still shoots very well 2.325 @ 600yds with a 52 score 9 5 shot group all 10s) with 130 gn sierra match kings also shoots 145 gn speer gold match hope this helps john mc

Hi DSBW i get 2925 fps when using 130gn sierra's and 2850 with the 145 speers i am using varget and cci 450 primers and jump the projectiles .005" i have a very tight chamber regards john mc
