Red River reloading has Lapua in stock.
I’m sorry. They have 300 WSM. I use it for a 7mm wildcat so my mind went straight to the 300 brass.I don't believe that Lapua ever made 7 WSM brass.
Hornady 7 WSM brass is available in many on-line locations.
Check and see but since the ad is from Sep 8th they most likely were sold within the day as 7WSM brass has not been made to my knowledge for many years…This guy is selling some.

My 7wsm brass is directly from Norma 300wsm.I don't think forming from 300WSM is an option as the 7 version is 40 thou or so longer to avoid the 7WSM case being chambered in a 270WSM and creating a potentially dangerous situation. The 300 and 270 both share the same headspace or datum, whichever you prefer, the 7 being longer. With factory tolerances being what they are, Winchester obviously felt this was a sound design practice. Wasn't the 7mm Express or 280Rem longer than the 270Win to avoid this same situation?
You could probably size the necks down to fit and create a false shoulder but I don't think there is anyway of getting around potential case head separation with that 40 thou mismatch.
I imagine neck is a bit short but it’s doable, saw that when fireforming 6 arc into 22 arc, not optimal but feasible. My 7wsm brass is directly from Norma 300wsm.
Size the neck to 7mm just enough for firm chambering.
Brass is on its 7th firing.
Yes. The SAAMI necks are short to begin with. Once formed were even shorter. Three firing the length grew .010".I imagine neck is a bit short but it’s doable, saw that when fireforming 6 arc into 22 arc, not optimal but feasible.
Modernized 7WSM with a bit longer neck and freebore would be a fantastic cartridge, easily does what 7RM does in a better form factor.Yes. The SAAMI necks are short to begin with. Once formed were even shorter. Three firing the length grew .010".
That was the only choice I had, and that was in 2016.
