7mm SAUM Load Data

Picked up a Rem 700 SA the other day in 7MM SAUM.
Anyone have some good load data for this cartridge? I am using Norma brass.
Powders I can use are 4350, H-1000, Retumbo, and Reloader 17.

I went to one of my manuals and it had 63 gr of H-1000 listed as a starting load for 168 gr bullet and 67+ being the max but when I threw 63 gr in a NEW case I got the bullet to compress it some. I am loading the berger 168 classic hunters at 2.825 OAL to fit in the magazine box. I don't know how you could get 67 in there and seat a bullet.

Use a drop tube, which is a must.
Longer drop-tube funnels and thrower tubes greatly improve powder column consistency.

Good luck! I'm surprised the max load is that high ??? What COL do they list? Not that 67 grs. would leave room for any bullet!

Get one of the disposable, battery powered tooth brushes. Put your finger over the neck & press the tooth brush against the side of the case. The tooth brush will vibrate the powder down in short order. Most cartridge blocks will allow you to do two cases at a time by sticking the tooth brush between two cases touching both. It works like a charm.

Thanks for the tip guys I always steered away from compressed loads.
Anyone have any pet loads using any powder?

If I remember correctly my max load of H1000 was 64 grains with the 168/175 bullets. Very accurate with that load.
