7mm SAUM brass

This question is for the folks who have rifles chambered in 7mm SAUM.

What are you doing for brass? Is anyone making 7mm SAUM out of a different brass?

Good old Rem brass in 7mm rsaum ( its just too easy not to.)
Sort it, skim it, shoot it, anneal it.
Works just fine.

Im using Nosler (which is Norma brass in the SAUM version) 300 SAUM necked down to 7mm I Got a bunch of boxes (50 count) for 40 bucks a box. I couldnt turn it down. I refuse to pay the $55 for a box of 25 Nosler 7saum head stamp brass.

I made mine out of Rem 300 brass (before Norma) to give me a little extra to skim cut the necks to clean them up. They do end up a bit short, but no biggie, as they'll get there soon enough anyway.

Nosler 300 necked down are working great for me. Picked my rifle up from the smith a couple of weeks a go. Got about a 100 rounds through it. VERY PLEASED with it.

Still pounding away with Remington brass in a few 7 SAUM's... Never seemed to be a problem using it...

Buy the Remington, sort it, prep it and save yourself a ton of money. Mine has been in service for 2 years and maybe 7 firings each and I've only lost one case to split necks. I see no need to buy expensive headstamps just because.
