7mm RSAUM problems and case dimensions

I'm having some problems with chambering; extraction of my handloads.
I think it may be due to my full length sizing die.
I can set the shoulder back several thou. but radial size may be an issue.
Please check some dimensions of your fired and resized cases and post them here.
I'm checking the web in front of the rim.
Unfired Remington is .5450, Fired .5485-5490, FL sized .5490

When you say "extraction of my handloads", is the case stuck? Like the extracxtor is grabbing it but can't pull it?
What is your action?
I had an issue with an extractor not having enough clearance to get over the rim to extract.

the case extracts but the bolt is sticky. There are no problems until the cases are fired several times.
What is your resize dimension?

I have seen a similar problem on a SAUM several times, and have had it with my occur 7WSM too. Check your case length. They tend to grow fairly quickly.

I have learned that the designated "MAXIMUM"" trim length is irrelevant with my 7WSM as I can have "sticking" issues with brass that is much shorter than the max length. In my situation it merely taught me to keep a much closer eye on it. If the end of the case is too long for your particular chamber it will engage into the throat and be difficult, if not impossible to extract without the use of a cleaning rod going into the barrel from the muzzle end.

I only have 2 cases that will measure .548. They were binding in the shell holder. I can still load and shoot them, but retired them for that reason. They came from the high end of ladder testing, Norma brass, with only .100 of free bore, pushing the 180 berger vld deep in the case. This adds up to high pressure. I have since had the free bore moved out to .200 and less than Max powder. The binding in the shell holder was a wake up call. For what it's worth, Mike
