Borden Timberline, 9 twist Broughton, H1000, 150 Scirocco. I have plenty of brass and I'm pretty sure I can make it with 404 Jefferies brass and ring dies if I ever find I need more brass.

I also have a 300 Dakota, and a 330. The same applies if I ever need more brass. I have 300 pieces of
Norma, and 200 pieces of RWS 404 Jefferies. I have body dies for all 3. My 300 is a Nesika V action, and the 330 is another Borden Timberline. All 3 are Broughton barrels. I love the Dakota cartridge.

Check the extractor - brass can probably be made/resized from 28 Nosler - only issue would/could be extractor purchase on the smaller diameter rim. o_O As did Waverly, when the Henriksen reamer was ordered, I acquired a life-time supply of 7mm; 300; & .330 DAKOTA brass, as the company (DAKOTA) was on it's way to the undertaker. The Borden actioned, Bartlein barreled 7mm DAKOTA, similar to the OP, runs 160 Gr. BT at 3250 FPS - way more gun than a mule deer needs. RG

P.S. the 28 Nosler rim-diameter is only about 0.010" smaller, or, o.oo5 per side - that shouldn't be a problem. All of the body dimensions should accommodate simply running the Nosler brass through
a 7mm DAKOTA full-length die . . . that could make for a slightly tight fit at the .200" ahead of the bolt-face DATUM.

I make my cases from 404 Jeffery. The rws is super tough and last a long time. Mostly shot 180's in the ones I've had. But now I'm using 190matrix. The cow in the picture was shot at 440yards.

In my 330dak I'm using 250bergers or partitions.
