7MM BR

I recently disposed of my Rem. XP100 Silhouette Pistol and would like to find a target rifle chambered in 7BR. No one that I know of is building rifles in 7BR. Does anyone know what companies are custom chambering in that caliber?

just about any good smith, I had R. W. Hart of Nescopeck, pa do mine, they are of the Hart barrel family and do superb work.

You could try bob green in pennsylvania and there are a myriad of others that will do it.Call gre-tan rifles on colorado,he does nice work.What kind of rifle are you thinking of using for the project.

I initially contacted Rem. Custom Shop, However, they never replied to my request. I currently use a 40XC in .308 and like everything about it but it's butt pad, which I replaced with a Decellerator.

Have always been interested in the 7mm BR. Not to highjack but what makes you a fan of the 7 over the 6 or 30?

Pac-Nor built mine years ago on an M7, pleasant fun round, good deer killer too. 120s 2878mv, 130 2666, 139 2544mv. 21" 9 twist

I have taken wt deer with the Sierra 130 7mm out of an xp, they just drop.

in a rifle 20 bbl 9 twist I think you would have a very accurate rifle, as well as an excellent deer rifle.
