7mm Barrel Life

I was curious has to how long a Barrel would last on a Ruger M77 MkII 7mm Rem Mag, with handloads. This is a hunting stock barrel, no kreiger etc.

Do Not repeat Do Not look at the bore w/ a borescope of your Ruger.

Clean the bore on occasion

Protect the crown

Ensure the action screws are tight

Shoot it

If you can't hit what your aiming at,time to replace it.

+1 on what Dan said. They are usually shot out by 1000 rounds.
