I think it may be possible. However, you are going down 24 thousandths which is fairly substantial. Buy a 7mm-08 body die and use that to bring the neck down to about the size of fired 7mm-08 case. Remove the expander ball on your .308 die and put a 7mm bushing in it to bring it down to the size you want. BUT remember, you are going to have to turn the necks. I can guarantee you the necks will get AT LEAST 2 thousandths thicker than your virgin brass. Necking down is not anywhere near as easy as necking up!Is it possible to use a 308 bushing die to resize 7mm-08?

I think he wants to make 7mm-08 out of .308 brass>>>>my guess is that he wants to use the S/R primer Lapua Palma brass. If I am correct, he would be better off using Peterson S/R primer .260 brass and NECK UP! But I am only trying to guess with the tiny info we got..I thought he was asking if he can size 7mm08 brass in a 308 bushing die. I don't think he meant sizing 308w brass down into 7-08 in a bushing die. At least that's what I though he meant.
