7mm-08 Rem pet load for Ruger.

I have a Ruger 7mm-08 Rem stainless and I need a good acurate load for it.Anyone useing the Hdy 139 Gr, sst? If so what powder an grs.

I suggest start at 43.5grs of Varget and work to say 44 with the SST.
44.8 is def max in my T3

I use H-414 with 120 Ballistic Tips....the exact load is up to your barrel....

I have owned a 7/08 since '88. I gave each of my kids one on their 12th b-day.
Following is the progression of loads that I have gone through (all with 140 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tips):
47.0 gr./ WW-760 w/ Rem. 9-1/2M ( John Wooters pet load.......accurate, but dirty)
43.0 gr./ IMR-4064 w/ Rem. 9-1/2
40.0 gr./ Reloder 15 w/ Wolf LR ( flows well thru measure, and works well in many cartridges I load for allowing me
buy in bulk.

In my R700 I load 140 Accubonds over 47.7 gr of H4350 MV ~ 2800 out of a 24" Rock Creek. Prints MOA at 200
