7mm-08 reloading

Hi all,
Just debating which pill to use for reloading my tikka super varmint 7mm-08, it has a 24" 1.9:5 twist, ill be using it mostly for long range target shooting out to 1000yards and metallic silhouette out to 500 meters. I'm trying to decide between the 168g Sierra HPBT match kings and or 162 Hornady AMAX, I will be using reloader 19 or ADI 2209. I was looking at the Berger 168 VLDs too but have read a few posts regarding the issues with that projectile and the 7mm-08, like magazine length because the OAL exceeds it and powder capacity etc.

I think you'll kinda need to try both of your choices to really find out what your rifle likes,
FWIW, It's hard to go wrong with an SMK,,

A great thing about this place is the "Classifieds" if you buy a bullet and it doesn't work well for ya you can always sell here or trade, OR you can place a Want To Buy (WTB) for a type or style and maybe someone can spare a few for ya to try?
