7BR neck reduction

Has anyone experienced any problems in necking down 6BR or 7BR brass, to 22BR???
Seems it would be one trip thru the die, then any required neck turning.
Comments of experience preferred.

I've necked 6br down to 22br before. I ran them in the 22br seat die first and then went into the 22br fl die. Worked a little bit smoother this way.

I necked Lapua 6 BR down to 22 BR using a 22 BR FL die without any problems.

Guys, I cheat! With a set of button dies you can squeeze any case down easily. Skip Otto made mine but he is gone now. Pike is making the die & buttons now with a few improvements. Knowing what they can do they are well worth the money.
