75 grain Amax for an ar15 ?

Whatever you load, make sure it's a cannalured bullet in an AR. I've loaded Amax and Vmax for my AR and many of those bullets were pushed back into the cartridge while auto feeding. Even tried tighter neck tension and still had an issue. I'm sure many other guys on this site experienced the same any others no issue. This is just my experience with feeding from an AR mag with match bullets.

Ya like I said some don't. May just be i need to have a gunsmith polish my chamber area or do something to make the feeding much less abrupt when entering that chamber area. Constantly I have those match type bullets setting back in the case even so much that powder actually gets out of the case during operation. Not good.

Went shopping and couldn't believe what seemed to be extinct lmao, no varget, hand full of primers, 2 sizes of pills 3 jugs of bl-c2 , at this rate I might just make another bolt gun

Increase your neck tension, never had a problem with setback in reloads.

If your looking for a bullet with good terminal ballistics and longer legs than standard choices, try the 77 gr Sierra TMK. Can be loaded to mag length and has BC equal to 80 gr match bullets.

Powder comes out of the case? Ya, take that rifle to a gunsmith ASAP. I've never heard tell of such a thing in 22 years of shooting service rifle.

Can you push the bullet into the case deeper with firm hand pressure?

If you have a bunch of 75 A Max to shoot, I single loaded first round with one and chased it with of mag of something else hunting coyotes. It doesn't use them up fast but it does use them and the first round is a goodern.

Use metal mags and tweak the feed lips to bring the point of the round up, most of your problems should go away. Also, make sure there is no lip from the barrel extension hanging past the receiver for the nose to catch on.
