I'm working on a 7 Ultramag for a customer of mine, bedding, Jewell trigger and load development. I have a bunch of 162 amax that I shoot out of my 284 shehanne anyways, I need some starting loads using 162 amax and retumbo.

you may want to try Retumbo. 95grs is max so start lower maybe 93grs should give you around 3000fps with the 162 BTSP from a 26" barrel.. Good shooting....

Any info on speeds for 94gr retumbo and 162 amax?

around 3500 fps, depending upon barrel length.

I shot some in my gun when first assembled, 3595 fps, rough on brass. Some didnt make it to the target. Berger hybrids or JLK for me.

24" barrel

Hodgens website say around 3200 fps which seemed kind of slow but maybe this 24" barrel thats all it would do. My chrono is broken so I just wanted to know so I could print him a drop chart. I guess I could try 3300 fps and try those numbers this weekend at range.
