It's not a good idea because the nose of the 180 Berger's are 0.77" to 0.84"ish. Bullets length is 1.500"+.
So if you seat the 180 to 2.825"ish so it feeds from a magazine or internal box, you'll have almost half the bullet below the case mouth. The nose of the bullet is half the length of the bullet so you'll have no bearing surface above the case mouth.
Not a good idea in my opinion unless you're seating the bullets to 2.900"+ and use a magazine that allows for that long COAL. Some of the AICS mags allow for 2.980"ish COAL and that would be the only way I would attempt to feed the 180 in a short action.
