7 saum brass nk question

Hey guys
If I'm ordering a 7mm rsaum reamer and want to use Norma 7saum brass. What does a loaded round measure on virgin unturned brass?
I'm gonna turn and clean up and just need a reference on how thick the norma brass is and what I needed to order. Gonna put probably .220 fb in it.

Thanks

My untouched 7 MM Norma SAUM lot measures .315.6 with a 162 A-max seated...
They will clean up at .015 per side.........
JGS will treat you right on the numbers.....

get .220 freebore/.314 neck. This will give you .004 chamber clearance. A loaded round will be .310" with 180 bergers .309 bushing and you will be really happy.Neck wall thickness on Norma brass will be turned to 12.5 thousand's.

Any real good reason to turn that much off the necks ??
A good clean up only needs to cut off very little material....

Do a test for your self. Turn one with the neck brass thick. Then one turned to 12-12.5 thousand use same neck tension for both. You will find that the bullets go in like butter with the 12 thousand neck wall thickness. I believe that this helps with more consistant bullet release an lower ES's. Talk to shootsdots on here and i believe he will agree. He is a very good high master F-class shooter.

My rifle seems to like them at .015 thick.
200 yard groups in the low 2's works for me....
Went through the thin necked 6BR's years ago.
No one seems to be doing that anymore...
I can not seem to get my head wrapped around turning off more brass than needed....
I have notice that the thinner necks need more tension than the thicker ones seem to like...

Not sayi

Not saying that will not work. I have had a 6.5x47 no turn neck with factory lapua brass shoot lights out. But in 7mm and bigger I have had better luck with 12.5 thousand's. But if its working in your rifle i would not change a thing. Each one is different. Feed it what it wants.
