7 mag headspace question

I just received a McGowen Remage barrel in 7 mag. I have always used go- nogo gages on my other barrels with headspace on the shoulder but since this a belted magnum would a new case be acceptable to head space the barrel.

Exactly how I do it.

The belted case gauge only checks the belt. The belts are not held very close tolerance on brass that I checked. I use the go gauge and chamber until the go gauge just closes (tight). I load so I'm sizing off the fired shoulder same as any non-belted case.
