Is the best way to see if a Bartlein 6mm 5r 7.5 Twist will stabilize Berger 115s is to fire
On paper @ 1000 yards and watch how they impact the paper, or can ballistic charts
be trusted.......Thanks.......

Not sure if it's the best way. I'd start at 100 yards, so I have a reference of drop and groups.

i think 300 yards minimum would be better. 100 yards is king of a waste, unless you are bore sighting

In a bartlein a 1-8 will work with a 115 DTAC in a Dasher @ 2900with no problem.I used them in a Brux 1-7.83 with no problem. They make very small holes at 1K. I feel that mid range testing is a waist of the barrel and time,if it shoots small at 100 it will shoot small at 1K.......jim
