7/300 prc load help

Might look at 28 nosler data with that powder to see what you could maybe start at

Isn't the prc about the same as the saum ?
The 28 nosler wouldn't even be close.

Base is presumably the 300 prc so a good bit larger than saum.
Approximately 95 grains water capacity

Lots of 7/300WM data to get a good base from.

Woops I must have confused it with something that I thought was a spin on the Ruger compact magnum.

Good afternoon, i was just searching to start my own question. i just starting load dev on a 7-300PRC AI, Sierra 197 matchking, H1000 powder, 28" bartlein barrel, 700 ultra mag action. 74 to 74.4 grains has me at 3000 fps. on about 20 rounds thru the barrel. Any more powder and my bolt is not heavy to lift and no extractor marks on the brass but bolt is stiff to pull the case from the chamber.
I am curious if anyone one here shoots this type of tip to compare data.

Are you just necking down and then fire forming? How many rounds are you expecting for barrel life? What twist are you using?
