7-08AI Reamer Specs for F-Class

Mulligan

I know a few of you have tried the 7-08 for F-class.
What reamer suggestions do you have for running the 168 class bullets in this case? Is there anyone still running the 180’s with it? I know @Quickoz, @ShootDots, @plumbs7 gave it a go????

I plan to order a reamer soon and am looking to learn from the collective knowledge on this site.
Thanks for the help

I'd run the 168gr over 180gr. Though I would like it to try it with Moly and 180gr to see how it runs. Be interesting to see if the 2820 node can be reached without pressure.

If you want 180s. Run mine. Its from PTG. 220fb. Shoulder bushed forward 17 thou. 314nk. Can run lighter bullets and get more powder in the case though too.

The reamer I have has a .270 freebore for the Berger 180 Hybrids. It is spot on. So I would imagine that same freebore would be just about right for the 168gr. since the 180 Hybrids have a relatively short bearing surface.
@ShootDots Ben, did you push the shoulder forward on your AI?
Thanks
