Installing a 7-08 barrel on a Rem 700. 24" barrel hoping to find some info from members on fav loads for the 150 Swift Scirocco bullet. Trying to stay in the mid weight range for the .284 caliber. Not wanting light but have a 284 that shoots the 160 class bullets. I have 100 of the Swift bullets. This will be a whitetail hunting bullet.

I can’t help you with the 150s but mine shoots 140s (accubonds and SGKs) in the mid 2900s over about 46.5gr of 2000MR.
edit: the Feed ramp on my R700 is cut and I can feed rounds from an AICS pattern mag with no front plate. I think they are like 2.920 oal

150g Sierra, I shot a HOT load of Big game, fantastic accuracy
154g Hornady SP flat base, Amazing bullet, shoots holes through Both large hog shoulders on broadside shots!, my load was 44g of R#16, and work up to that load in your rifle.

Not in your powder list but does come available regularly, 40gr of IMR 4064 is the most accurate load I've found yet with all the 150s tried so far. It's an upper middlin' load, but is ones of those that just works. In RP brass it does around 2700fps from a 24" bbl., & in Alpha brass you can add about 40-50fps to that.
Ramshot Big Game gets better speed with slightly larger average groups, as does N160 & N550.
