6XC with Moly Bullets?

Has anyone played with wet moly'd bullets in a 6XC or any other 6mm comparable speed wise? Thinking about trying it in my F open rifle for extended cleaning intervals and maybe not being as hard on the barrel as naked bullets.

I used moly 115 DTACs in my first 6XC barrel. I pulled it at around 2000 rounds and switched to HBN 115 DTACs because DTubb quit selling moly. I've never shot naked bullets so I can't speak to how they compare but the HBN was fairly close to the moly as far as velocity and powder charges. 2950 was where it shot the best and that's where I keep it.

Lot's of opinions on moly but I'm a believer. I shoot it in my 6XC with 115 VLD's 115 DTAC's and 105 VLD's all shoot well. I also shoot it in my 6mm AI. I have a 6.5x284 still shoot's under 1/2 moa with close to 1500 rounds down the tube. Most won't believe that but alway shot moly and never got the barrel hot. Moly for ME!

that's good to know! I shot the first moly loads yesterday and things seemed to go well. If it's as accurate as it promises to be, well, I think I'll be sold on moly!

Don't know about the other guys but I got 6500 rds out of my 6BRX before I changed barrels. She still held the 10 ring on the Fclass target at 600 yds. All bullets were Molly'd using the Neco method. Shooting 105 Bergers at 2980 fps.
