6XC HELP!

I have been shooting my new 6XC mainly using 3 different bullets. 105 gr.
Berger Hy.,88 gr. Berger and 87 gr. V-Max. So far the 105 has averaged
about .300 but the lighter bullets just won't shoot very well or at least
consistently, averaging about .500-.600. Powder is H4350 with all bullets
and some H4831 for the 105's which by the way, seems to out shoot the H4350. Is there any trick to get these lighter bullets to shoot well? I have changed seating depth to no avail. There always seems to be a flier to mess
the group up and the 105's have had an occasional flier. I actually wish the 105's would do a little better as all groups are 3 shots. Barrel is a
1-8 Krieger.

Thanks, John

I'll be watching this tread with some interest too. I have a 9 twist and another that is a 10 twist. I've been able to get anything from a 70gr through a 95gr to shoot well in one or the other of them except.... 87gr Vmax shoot so so in both but haven't found a Berger bullet yet that it likes..... always a serious flyer in the group.

Have you checked the crown VERY carefully yet? WD

How far from the lands are the 105 hybrids? How much neck tension are you using? Primer?

I have tried the Hybrids from .010 off all the to .030 off and it seems to
make little difference. The lighter bullets from almost touching to about
.015 off but the V-maxes did not like to be crowded that close so I'll go the other way. The Berger 88's, hard to tell. The chamber has a .275 neck
and a loaded round measures about .2705. I have been using a .268
bushing but have a .267 available. Brand new barrel and I would hope the crown would be ok. Thanks very much for the the answers. Maybe
with a little more tinkering I can solve this. Tula primers first time around,
3 misfires out of 20. Switched to Fedreal LRM.
