6XC, H4350, 107 gr. SMK, Peterson brass

Can some one give me load data on charge weight from, low to high on these 107’s? I can find every other BULLET but nothing clear on naked 107s..any experience with Sierras in 6XC appreciated...

I shoot 40 grains in both of mine. Rock barrel on one and Krieger on the other, both 8 twist and both extremely accurate. Using formed Win 22/250 in the Rock and Tubb/Norma in the other with 450 primers. Reamer was .274nk and .104FB. Also both at 10 off. Use them for yotes.

use 105 data maybe back off .2 gr or so. bearing surface and groove dia is what gives pressure..sometimes

Thanks for the hard data. Sierra shows pressure at 39.1 but that was lower then other comments I had read. I’m not looking to push pressure for velocity, just accurate to 700...I’ll start low and work up. 105 and 107s are two entirely different profiles...I shoot Sierra because they are cheaper and consistent and go to Berger’s or Tubb 115s for lr...

My best luck so far has been with the 107 SMKs , 39.3 gr. H4350, fireformed Norma brass with Federal GM210M primers, jammed .004” velocity averages 3014.

That sounds more like what I had mine or was guessing my max would be....thanks

My load is fire formed Lapua 22/250 brass, Fed 210 primer, 40.5grs AA-4350, moly 107SMK’s -015 jump 2990 FPS ES & SD? Who cares it shoots!

I’ve shot 38-39grs of H4350 under a 107 using Norma brass for years. Great accuracy and velocity without killing the brass. Shot more cleans at 600 than I can count.

You’ll find Petersen brass is even better than Norma.

Avoid Alpha Munitionsbrass at all costs. It is dangerous to use.

aa4350 is a great powder in the 6 XC, and start at 39g with any of the 4350's using the 107's.

I shot 900 rounds on thirty Lapua palma cases, still using 13 of them. I pushed the limits with R#17, and primer pockets opened up after 4 firings. Remington 7 1/2's proved to be much better than cci 450.

IN a 31" barrel, I had nodes with 107's in a 6 groove, .237 bore at 3050,3150,and one using R#17 with Rem 7 1/2 at 3250 with fantastic accuracy. Node with H4350 was tiny bug holes at 3150, 39.5g...just for illustration.

Peterson brass test will be next.

This really is an irresponsible statement to make without absolute back up using data and lab work. Opinions simply don't count.

It’s a free country and my opinion, based on my experience, is as valid as anyone else’s. You’re free to ignore it, if you like.

I’m even willing to use my real, full name on here.

Had a 'duh' moment on above post. Was thinking of my 6x47L load, I use 450's with it. My XC load above includes a BR-2 primer. Sorry for the goof up!!!

Thanks for all of this great input! I’ll try and post ladder test...so far it’s a race in between 38 to 40 guns h-4350; all else being equal..sounds like 2 nodes around 39.1 and another at 40...I;l probably go with the best node at lowest velocity and consistency...
