If you will call SSS #806 323 9488- they would be happy to send you 5 pieces of 3rd gen brass.
The first three place finishers at Camp Perry were all using 3rd generation 6XC brass.
Additionally, I shot a 5 - 115gr test groups at 1000 yesterday and the average vertical dispersion was just over 5" for all 50 shots using 3rd generation 6XC brass.

Dear Mr Tubb,
Whats the chances of getting 6XC brass in Australia in the near future or will i have to go the resize 243 or 22-250 route.
And while i am at it what sort of price will we be looking at say 1000 pieces, biggest problem is your exporting and our importing customs etc. I could look into customs clearance and paperwork to import 1000 rnds and on sell some to other shooters. Or is there someone allready doing this.

I called SSS just last Monday asking to buy 5 pieces of 6XC brass as a sample. I was told that the new shipment of brass is completely exhausted, that there is no date yet for the next shipment, and that there are 8-months worth of backorders ahead of me.

It would appear that the availability problems with 6XC brass have still not been resolved.

P.S. If anyone could spare 5 pieces of 6XC brass,any generation, new or used), please contact me by email. I am also looking for samples of 6x47 Swiss Match, 6 Dasher, or anything in between.

I'm planning rechamber my Rem. 700 short action and want to be absolutely sure that the new round will fit in the magazine box with plenty of room to grow,shooting 115 DTAC or 107 SMK).

This 6XC thing seems to a real pain...

I have been waiting for my brass for almost a year. I was told that I would have it weeks before the Perry and still nothing.

This is a part of the reason I created the 6CM. If you want everything the 6XC offers and even more barrel life see my post on the 6CM. It uses 243 brass with no hassels. Same velocities, longer barrel life.
