Have any of you experimented with the 55 or 60 grain bullets in the 6-6..5x47L. It seems the only load data out there is for 105 and 108s with a smattering of stuff for 115s.
Preferred powder etc?
Thanks

Berger says you need a 1:7 to stabilize a 105 hybrid. I have a 6br with a 1:8 and they do ok in it at 100. I wouldn’t want to chance it long distance.I shot a few 55s using Varget and extrapolated. I started way low and went up. I got to 3800 fps and quit. 10 bullets at nearly 1 grain increments went into about an inch.
This rifle will NOT shoot 105 Berger Hybrids. I was really hoping it would. Does seem to like 107 SMKs. I turned the necks and will try again this week. I also found some 95 grain Sierra Tipped MKs. I think it will stabilize these fine.
Maybe go back to H4350 or 4451 for these
