6x47L No turn neck or tightneck?

I have been shooting only a year. I have 2 6x47L rifles with .264 necks i am in the process of upgraing to another rifle wanted to get a better opinion on this subject . THANKS

Keep them all the same or some day in the heat of the battle you will try to shoot an unturned neck in a tight chamber and that is not going to be good! As for accuracy, unless you are shooting match I don't think tight necks are the way to go. That being said, my 6x47 is tight necked! Tom

You turn necks already because you're sizing down the necks 2cals, which creates excess thickness.. Right?
What's changed?
How thick is your neck brass, after sizing & before you turn?

I don't see where you have a choice, but to turn.

Mine is tight-necked, but no turn. Shoots amazing, a true bughole producing rifle. It is, however, the most accurate rifle that I own and shoot, including my F-Class rig.

If I Had 2- 264 neck's I would not change-the neck size, unless you could prove that there is something wrong with that size(reamer)?? good luck in your choice. dogdude
